Any advices on how to manage being forced to wake up before the sun rise ? I'm in the Northern Hemisphere and in the winter I have to wake up at 7am and the sun rises between 7H30 and 8H30.... I find it crazy unpleasant to force my body to awake and drag myself to work when it's pitch black....
I have lived in an equatorial country where the sun rises at 6:30 and sets at 18:30 everyday without change. It was crazy how quick my circadian rythm ajusted, how much more energy I had. I'd wake up at 6:30 on week ends full of energy, which has never never happened when I live in Europe...
yah what i do is wear my blue blockers (red lenses) until i can either see sunrise or use a red light therapy device. This is also a good opportunity to get some red light bulbs in a lamp or two around the main areas you are at during this time to turn on instead of bright LED bulbs.
